Ok, so every single debate i get into ends in religion bashing huh? Prove it.
LOL @ you thinking I am going to go through every debate thread and prove that. My PERCEPTION is that much of your debate technique is to steer it toward religion and your hate of it. I believe others will agree with me.
All I am saying, or all I want you to realize is this: you're an intelligent guy. You have incredible powers of reasoning. Your debate skills are barrister-like. So I'd like to think of you and know you are mutli-talented in more than 1 subject.

I think AEF doesn't turn everything into a religion bashing debate. I'm sorry guys but I had to say it how it is. He doe give me the impression too that he doesn't like religion much... but saying he turns everything into that is going a bit too far.

First of all, AEF can say he doesn't like religion, in fact, he has the right to, but that doesn't make it Religion-bashing.
Second of all, Breath, I don't mean to start anything, I really don't, but doesn't it seem like you start a lot of these arguments? I mean, all AEF did was say he didn't like religion, then you had to say this:

Not at all Peter. If you'll follow the course of the conversation, I was merely stating an OPINION that I felt AEF's usual MO was to steer topics toward religion. Then, as we all know, since he hates/dislikes religion, that opinion of his would surface. HE asked for proof as a counterpoint to me. And then someone else didn't share my OPINION that many of his posts do involve religion. It was after their responses that I searched. Isn't that the point of debate: to prove a point?

Thebest, of course he can state his opinion, just as we are all entitled to say. I never said he shouldn't. But if MY perception (right or wrong) is that he forces the subject of religion into a topic when it isn't part of the debate, and then his well-known hate for religion comes out, then it is a form of religion bashing, because it appears to me (right or wrong), that the religious issue was brought up simply so he could state his dislike (
) of it.As far as this being an argument...I'll remind you that in a Debate section, everything can be questioned, just as you are questioning me now. If I "started it" (LOL), then every poster in this section does the same at one time or another.

I just see this thread decended into a huge and frankly petty argument just because AEF made a joke about getting rid of religion. Was there really any need to go dragging those stats up to prove a point? It just seems really petty to me and has spoilt this thread. Besides, I fail to see how using the word religion is proof that someone is always bashing it anyway. I'm done with this thread now, the arguement is frankly boring and pathetic.

The point is that as the discussion continued you said "I simply stated that I dislike religion."
Breath countered that that was not what you said but you had indeed used a much stronger word "HATE" thereby proving her point. And it was there in black and white.
