My sister is just planning on wearing her Gryffindor t-shirt that she got a month or so ago from our cousin's wife. She also dressed up for the LotR movies... with a home-made Elven cloak with one of the leaf broaches. She's planning on doing the same thing for the Hobbit movies when they come out... and will probably embarrass her, well he'll be her husband by then. Damn that's weird to think about.

I won't dress up for it... I'm too easily embarrassed, and I don't have anything to dress up as anyway. :24:

Wait, who will be her husband by then? I'm confused.

I couldn't be embarrassed anyway, there are too many people going dressed up far more festively than I would be haha. :D

I can't wait for the final movie!!! :D:D I get goosebumps every time I see the trailer- seriously. Hardcore HP fan.

Hehehehehe!! :D We need to go together. :24:

Funny this thread should come up, I'm watching the Andy Murray match at Wimbledon on telly right now and the ginger kid from Harry Potter is sitting there watching it.

God, he's so hot... *bats eyelashes feverishly* :ninja

Oh, and I just finished watching 1-6, I'll watch Deathly Hallows Part 1 right before I go see Part 2. I also just started re-reading 'em, so I should be done with them a little before it comes out.

I wanna have a HP marathon the night before, then go wait for the midnight viewing. I read all the books years ago, I think I'll read them again :D

He's a dreamboat *swoon*

:homo: He makes me all giddy inside. :ninja

He has like no body fat. His profile picture has him doing a push-up with his hands on a stool and his body in space.

Good Lord... so basically, he's a 5" taller version of my brother. :24:

It's times like these when I'm grateful that my sister is every bit (or more) the nerd that I am when it comes to stuff like that. I won advance screening tickets to the Return of the King on one of our local TV stations in what was that... 2003? She called me up (she and my mom heard me on the TV) and proceeded to tell me how much she hated me because she was trying to win them. :24: I think she was a freshman in high school at that point.

lol That sounds like my sister and I. Actually, she's definitely more of a nerd. Except she's "too cool" to dress up with me :mad Damn her.

Actually, I think it's just that she doesn't wanna be seen with me in public :24:

My gosh, it looks like Tom Felton! Even more shocking is that Snape is a blond too...

This weekend ABC Family had a Potter marathon showing all of the movies. I watched a couple, my wife watched them all. Finally got sick of commercials and broke out the DVDs to finish Order of the Phoenix, and Half Blood Prince. I'll watch Deathly Hollows Pt 1 tonight or at least before we see Pt2.

All of these movies are good. According to interviews in EW (Ent Weekly) it is a testament to the Director Chris Columbus working with child actors that the first two movies were as good as they were. When viewed front to back, they are an amazing testament to story, the author's vision, and a talented crew of people (Helena Bonham Carter, John Cleese, Robbie Coltrane, Ralph Fiennes, Michael Gambon, Richard Harris, John Hurt, Jason Isaacs, Gary Oldman, Alan Rickman, Maggie Smith, Imelda Staunton, David Thewlis, Emma Thompson, Timothy Spall, Brendan Gleeson, Kenneth Branagh), all of the directors, including Director Alfonso Cuaron (Prisoner of Azkaban) credited on the screen with turning this from a happy magic kid's story to a dark wizard and witches war story where people are dieing. The cumulative impact of watching the series from front to back is awesome.

Don't know if you noticed it, but Voldemort's snake nose is added digitally. Everything I see him, I notice a fuzzy area around his nose. Here he is with a real nose: ;-)
