In some ways Palestine kind of is a concentration camp (sans gassing obviously). I've never been to Gaza, but the West Bank is run like a military occupied zone.... Being an American gets you some perks at checkpoints, though. :alcoholic:

Colin Powell said it best when he said it is not anti-semitic to criticize the policies of Israel. Good thing cuz there are plenty of Jewish people in Israel who are critical of what their country is doing to the Palestinians. Perhaps they too see the correlation? Or are they just anti-semitic-holocaust deniers themselves?

Prolly. Y'think it compares better to the Trail of Tears of the 1830's? A complete stab in the dark on my part, but my brain works randomly like that with surprising accuracy.

One other point, the fences are to keep people out, unlike the German ones which were to keep people in. Why would they want to keep people out? I guess it's that nasty habit of occisionally having someone cross with a bomb to blow up innocents on a bus.
