£20 million seems to be not far of the asking price of Juan Mata or Eden Hazard... Wenger will not spend £20 million on an alright English player over a good foreigner. Dalglish might though.

Mereiles looks like he is on his way out, which is probably a good idea, amazing how someone who had 6 good games won PFA player of the year!

I love Merelies Hope he doesn't leave Top Top player... The runs he makes reminds me of Ljungberg... So underrated by other rival fans. Roy hodgson was playing Merelies left and right wing before Dalglish stuck him in the middle and the rest is history. Class act.

And Lucas only won because Suarez and Carroll arrived in Jan and didnt play till End of Feb due to injuries...
Suarez is our best player along with Gerrard who missed the best part of the last season.
Lucas is good but I'm sure Henderson will be ahead of him.

These are the deals I expect to go through this summer:

Nasri - Man City
Sneider - Man U
Downing - Liverpool
Tevez - Real Madrid
Sanchez - Barca

But... I don't think Fabregas will go this summer, I reckon Arsenal will hold out another year. Nasri can fuck off though.

Dalglish played Merelies left wing a lot of last season too. Hell, even with Gerrard out he kept Merelies out on the left. He was always the first player to depart to the subs bench as well. I don't think Dalglish has any time for him. Especially if he's worth a few bob.

Suarez was never injured and played from the get-go.

Henderson isn't a defensively minded player, so Lucas' position is assured really.

Merelies played a lot under Dalglish on the wing???? No he didn't WTF??? I watched every game last season...
Carroll was injured for most of the season when he joined us alreadly scoring 12 goals for newcastle...
He played around 5 times for us scored twice against man city...

Look at this recent sacking of Sammy Lee... It's alright being the King of Anfield. You can do and sack and play whoever and where-ever you want, and still be adorned for it. :D
 
This was our team Under Dalgish due to injuries to Carroll Gerrard and Glen Johnson...
But this was the team for 90% of the games under Kenny... Suarez and Maxi being the wide players

Of course he will be... He is The King :D ... Can't wait to see a whole season with him Suarez and Carroll :thumbup
 
I reckon he'll play up top with Van Persie, with Wenger reverting to a 4-4-2 style. Makes sense if Arshavin, Nasri, Fabregas and Walcott are all on their way out.
I expect Hazard to move to Arsenal if Nasri and Fabregas both complete their moves. (Best of luck to Fabregas, no time for Nasri)
