I just think if the majority lets this go on, then they must agree with this happening.. It's a different culture over there and to face the facts, women are treated horribly and forced into lives of seclusion and unfortunately its accepted and is looked at with not a care.

Fear is a helluva ting. A great many, perhaps even majority may not agree with it but live in fear that if they are found to be opposing will lose their and even their family's lives. So for them, better to stay quiet than face reprisal.

Thats a enormous stretch of the imagination, considering the great majority of wealth and military might lays within countries that will never let that happen. I mean, humanity has survived much much much worse predicaments. Look up the black plague when you get a chance. The human population of Europe and other parts of the world almost ceased to exist, yet again, here we are.

I really don't see how hard it is to grasp the concept, but I guess all the fear mongering in the media has done its job.

so 9/11...the madrid bombings....and the london bombings were fear mongering?.....the muslim ethic on treatment of women is disgusting to say the least.....at least in the west women on the whole are treated with respect by most men with even a little bit of common sense,equal pay or not......things are changing in respect to pay as well

you should try living in britain,there is an osama around every corner who preach hate....you wont fail to see enslaved women forced to wear veils and robes in the hottest of summers...you'll hear how the london bombers were born in britain...you'll learn that the muslims can preach as much hate as they like, but you dare not speak out in fear of being accused of being a racist.....you'll wonder why we cant fly our national flag during major sporting events because we might offend minorities....you'll struggle to grasp why in england every year you see st patricks day marshes, burns day celebrations and dowali festivals.......but a publican cant get permission to put a d/j in his pub on st georges day...then you'll be totally baffled to hear that certain mp's want christmas downgraded so minorities dont feel left out
