Does God Exist?

Me, I say no.
I will stay with the Big Bang, although there are multiple other theories.

I wanted to get your opinions on this.
Also, try to promote theories, and debate over that.

I don't know enough to vote. The problem for me is neither theory can tell you what happened at the beginning. Religion can't answer where God came from. Science can't say where the first "stuff" in the Big Bang came from.

gotta love String Theory. but even when you trace the origins of the univers back to "moments" before the big bang, where does the energy and particles come from to initiate the bang?

God is what you make it. if you believe in him, then he exists. he's not a dude with long beard living in the skies, he lives in your heart.

I believe in God, but not all the extra stuff that comes with it. Like gays going to hell. If you're not gay, you shouldn't give a fuck wheter they are or not.

well, i had this little thought earlier today, even though i voted yesterday...

if god is real, how would he know what the beginning is? he calls himself the alpha and omega. which roughly translates to beginning and end.

also, if he is real, how would he know what the end is? if it hasnt happened? if he knows the end, then he cant live forever.

and if he didnt live forever, he has an end. and if he has an end, he has a beginning.

so if he wasnt always there ( he had a beginning, as presumed above ), what was before him?

----------

thats just some of the things that go through my mind at any given time. unless im driving the mustang. then its only i hope that fucker doesnt hit me. and if he does... oh man.. he will wish he didnt.

I don't believe in God...

I think Gods creation was needed to explain those things that our feable minds could not. I love it when I hear people say that because they cannot explain something that happened or something that is so complex that it proves that there is a god. Just because we are not capable of understanding how everything in this universe works, does not mean that God created it. Could we apply this same logic to those who lived in the 1st century? They didn't understand flight, yet it does not mean that god holds them up, keeping them from falling to the ground.

We as humans need to expand our knowledge and understanding, and when we come across something that is beyond our realm of understanding, we contribute it to a higher being thus keeping our sanity in tact... because you cannot argue with someone over the existence of God... because we are not capible of understanding his great wisdom and power... (Crap I say)

yeah, i dont like that either...

"how did god get here?"

"god is the alpha and omega. he was always here. and he will always be here."

"so my question still remains. how did god get here?"

"i dont know. but god loves you."

...

thinking "wtf?"

I loved it when I was told that to go to heaven, I have to ask God to come into my heart... :dunno To that I said "Isn't he Omnipresent, meaning he is everywhere all the time?" "Then he is already in my heart" :wtf
