Different words for ones we are used to

Im on the motorway to Hell....nup, just doesnt have the same ring to it.;)

Its a Highway, unless you have to pay a toll, then its an expressway.

Well call them freeways around these parts. At least I do. I don't know about everyone else around here. I'm originally from New York, and so are all the older generations. But we've all lived here for a long time. I don't know. We have freeways! And we don't have toll roads.

I think the bonnet is the hood (I'm a bit confused as to what a hood is in America. I thought a hood was the fabric cover over the passenger bit of the car, like on a convertible car, if you know what I mean.). The bonnet is the cover that goes over the engine etc at the front of the car.

yes to us. a hood is what covers the engine.

I guess what you guys call a hood, we call a car bra
