Did your parents spank you? If so, have you been arrested for any acts of violence as an adult? Have you been arrested for any crimes as an adult? Do you think your parents abused you? When they spanked you did they do so out of anger, revenge, and rage or were they calm and in control when they spanked you? Did your parents spank you and never talk to you about what you did wrong, thinking that only a spanking was going to fix your behavior? Do you think you are damaged goods because your parents spanked you?

I got smacked across the face alot. I only got spanked maybe twice out of my whole child hood. I think getting smacked across the face straightened me out more. Now days even though I am 22, I am still scared of my mom, lol. After going through that though, I will not do that to my kids. It is very degrading to get smacked across the face. Especially in front of your friends or other people.
