I'm curious as to which line of conspiracy the theorists in this thread adhere to:

The 'new kids on the block' that seem to lack such basic understanding and knowledge of science, therefore becoming easy 'prey' for the jackals who want to sell books.

OR

Aliens have bases on the Moon. The Government knows this, of course, but cannot allow this information to get out, because they've been hiding the truth about ETs and contact with them since the 1940s, at least.

So, which?

I think like any conspiracy theory you're going to have those who believe one or the other in spite of evidence to the contrary.

The one fly in the ointment for me is the Van Allen belts. Jim Van Allen was a client of mine, and he and I spoke about this to some degree. Plus, he disputed the moon radiation bit.

He was sure we went.

What I find is amusing is this quote from this so called AboveTopSecret site.
Someone making a theory in 1959 (forty years ago) to be considered serious or fact with the limited technology available at the time to determine that.

why?
is it because we in europe know that the evil empire tells lies to the world and holds it by the short and curlies .if it happened ,which it didnt ,do you not think that 40 years on with so much more in the way of technological know how ,it wouldnt have happened again?
it hasnt happened again because it never happened in the first place .

It hasn't happened again because there's no use for the moon as of now.

Just because we were all in a international competition to get to the moon first, and we won, doesn't mean you can make up conspiracies :p

It was only the US, and Russia.. The UK nor any other country was in that race.


And the only reason you won was because of German scientists...

Rockets don't have throttles. It's either full power or no power. NASA is still currently working on variable acceleration rocket technology. And they are working on it solely for smooth landings on planets. If they were able to land smoothly on the moon almost 50 years ago, why are they now in development of this technology?
