I am 4 for 4 on referrals to Dexter leading to addiction. My boyfriend didn't watch an episode (he watches movies and shows all the time and my dog is named after it, how did he not watch? ) until 9/2/11 with me, and by 9/12/11 he had finished the series and was like "so when is this new season coming on?" :24:

No way!! I loved the last season even more than 4. 3 has been my least favourite so far

To me it felt like a lot of build up for almost nothing. And the season felt like it took longer than usual to get interesting. But that's just my personal opinion.

It is a really great show. You have to start from the beginning though. I questioned the concept of the show and the actor given the part but IMO it is must see TV

One of the very few times I would agree with this persons assessment. The first season was fantastic. The second season may be the best thriller tv series I have ever enjoyed. It's still watchable, but has gone down hill since then imo.

My interest was energized in the show after watching the first episode. My wife says she heard this Season 6 is the last for this show, but I've not seen anything specific. Anyone know? I really did not like Season 4 (Author Mitchell-John Lithgow), Season 5 (Lumen) was watchable, but definitely several notches below Season 1 & 2.
