I'm surprised there were no comments for the new season of Dexter. It's good! Based on events at the end of last season, Dexter appears to be the closest he has ever been of being caught since Season 2! :)

I just switched to Showtime so I could watch it

I am disappointed though that they do not have the old shows on cable to watch

I think I might be more hooked on Boardwalk Jungle

Buschemi is one hell of an actor

Agreed! As far as old shows, if you are familiar with On Demand every so often, for a limited time, they do run through the old shows on both Showtime and HBO. We are just finishing up the end of Rome, one of the finest cables series ever made.

watched episode 1 of season 5 a couple of days ago. I guess Quinn is going to be the new Doakes, I loved season 2 so if it's going to go in that direction I'll be happy.

Rome was awesome. We liked Deadwood too.

Dexter rocks. We still have to watch last night's episode, but it's off to work for us.

Rome! Deadwood! Dexter! You're singing my song. :D Two reasons I'm pissed at HBO, premature suspension of outstanding shows. Just my opinion. ;)

so if they dont have the first seasons are you saying its probably not best to start with the newer ones? I have showtime now and the show does sound interesting but I dont want to waste my time if I should watch the old ones first

The episode goes so fast, it feels like it's 15 minutes long sometimes, cause the show's so good.

On the finale of last season, we sat there stunned and speechless at that ending. Wasn't a sound in the room.

I think it's cool how Dexter's sister on the show is his wife in real life. When I saw them together at an awards show as a married couple, I still perceived them as brother and sister cause that's how I know them.

This should be watched from the beginning imo. The first two Seasons are incredible with tons of back story. Option 1: buy new or used ones by the Season. eBay is good for used. Option 2: Netflicks or Blockbuster online.

I wonder if Michael C Hall has recovered from his (was it) cancer?

Season Finale this Sunday! Will Lumen survive? How about Quin? Will Dexter get caught? Will his sister figure out he is the vigilante killer but let him off the hook? Will Dexter have an affair with his nanny?

I'm happy he took care of Robo Cop... wink.gif

I'm really regretting watching Dexter on Sunday night... I should've held off until this Sunday so I could watch both episodes back to back -.-

I thought the Season 5 finale was a bit of a let down... I thought Jordon Chase would be harder to defeat than a simple
knife in the foot
. ;) I was surprised that Dexter's sister violated her trust as a police officer although I understand she is human and sympathetic to the plight of No.13. And what about Quin? Is he so enamored with Debra Morgan that he is willing to push aside his suspicions of her brother regarding the death of Stan Liddy and bleed over from last season and the Trinity Killer?

Looking forward to next season. :)

For Sexy Sadie, that would be really special if we gazing on your back side for the holidays and not just some made up avatar. ;)

They're divorcing, according to recent news.

Jennifer Carpenter is a strange chick. At moments I think she's butt-ugly, crosseyed and grossly mannish in her build, but other times she can be sexy as all get out. She was a fashion model before she became an actress.

All that said, :idhitit:eek:ver and over again.

My wife says she has an alien face, everything about it is off kilter. What she has going for her is personality and she is thin, but strikes me as tomboyish. Could she play a feminine role? I'm thinking no.

Season one before she became a detective she dressed up as a hooker and looked pretty hot.
