Season 4 is amazing! :thumbup
Am shocked with the ending of this season though. Why didRita have to be killed when in the novel this show is based from, she isn't ??. It's disheartening
Having watched a few episodes of Season 5, is:unsure:Julia Stiles- 'Lumen' gonna be staying given she's in a relationship with Dexter now? Or is she gonna be killed too like Rita??
The writing in season 6 is a little lax imo...things work out just a little too perfectly and there are too many coincidences. Doesn't make it any less awesome though lol.
Really? I love it. It reminds me of the old Dexter.
They felt they needed to end the season the way they did to push the show in a new direction I think. Believe me, I watched it when it happened, and I'm still mad about it. I kept hoping it wouldn't be real.
And as far as season 5, you'll just have to watch and see.

I am not all that excited by this season. Perhaps Dexter has jumped the shark.
I don't know if they are using the same writers but there just is not much mystery and suspense like the earlier season.
From Wikipedia, Dexter still has the same writers and directors

The main creative forces behind the series were executive producers Daniel Cerone, Clyde Phillips and Melissa Rosenberg; Cerone left the show after its second season. Coming off a record-setting Season 4 finale, executive producer and showrunner Clyde Phillips departed the series to spend more time with his family. 24 co-executive producer Chip Johannessen took over Phillips' post.[SUP][5][/SUP] Head writer Melissa Rosenberg left after Season 4 as well.
After the conclusion of Season 5, it was revealed that Chip Johannessen was departing the show after a single season[SUP][6][/SUP] and that Scott Buck would be taking over as showrunner from season 6.
if they got a writer from the later part of 24 then the show is doomed. 24 when downhill the last 3-4 seasons big time due to unimaginative writing.
I hope I am wrong.
I am surprised Carpenter (sister) has not made more of a splash and gotten movie offers. She is damn good and that mouth of hers is fucking hilarious.
Fortunately the 24 writer is gone. He worked on crappy season 5.
I'm with Pan. Michael C. Hall needs to keep working. And I need to find somewhere to watch Six Feet Under since he was in that show IIRC.
You've never seen Six Feet Under?
