Thanks, I don't live on charity. Like to earn it. I dont piss on people. Many here cant take criticism. Its ok for them to be critical but when we asians rebutt they go wild but I can easily handle all of them hands down single handedly and I enjoy the sparring. I seldom post in other threads.:D

But it's okay, he doesn't have to because he's not an American Christian. The rules only apply to those that Kelvin despises... like Americans in general.

Decide on what? I was stating that your implication that you wouldn't care is false. I wasn't saying that you should be banned.

As far as the point of the thread goes... I do know plenty of Christians who donate their time and money to those that are in need. Unfortunately those are few and far between, and that's why I've given up on organized religion. I'm a Christian, and I have a relationship with God... but the hypocrites telling me 'how to live my life turned me off to the point that I can't stomach it anymore.

So Kelvin, your country is the "5th richest" in the world... how do you guys deal with things such as charity and helping those in need. Because I'm seriously doubting that everyone there is doing so well that they don't need assistance.

I was born and raised as a Roman Catholic. I dont go to church anymore but I have my relationship with God. I know of church goers who are holy inside the church only.

Agreed there are people here who need assistance. We have one central NGO known as the Community Chest. All donations are channelled to the Community Chest which then distrubtes the funds to the various registered charitable organisations. The govt conducts periodic checks on these charitable organisations to ensure all the money spent is accounted for. The government has various welfare scheems for the needy too.

I posted the thread for discussion. I did not condemn American christians. Like I said before I did not state my opinion on that thread. Why should I condemn american christians when I myself am a christian.

PS - i missed that post earlier.

Your original post states that millions of well off American's load themselves into their expensive cars and drive by homeless shelters, orphanages, prisons, mission, and halfway houses on their way to church where someone tells them to be more like Jesus. Without any explanation on your part it is an inflammatory statement somehow attacking the morals of chruch going U.S. Christians. When asked about halfway houses, you admit Singapore has them too. And I know you have prisons. So exactly what was your point? Why distinguish U.S. Christians from other Christians? You Christians in Singapore have morality cornered?

At least your starting to let your true feelings show. Until you can acknowledge that your own country has serious flaws, you have no business throwing criticisms at the U.S. in these forums. Your country has a poor human rights record, but you will not criticize your own country. I suspect that you are scared too. In the mean time this type of post comes across as trolling.
