FYI Only: A religious explanation for anyone if interested (short version of course):
Adam and Eve were perfect, no DNA mutations.
Sin entered the picture and yeah well there you go.
In the law God handed down to the Jewish people He was clear that there were to be no sexual relations between close family members. Leviticus is where you can find much of God's law for the beginning nation of the Jewish people if you are interested in looking it up.

The Jews were also commanded to stone to death their own offspring if they had pre marital sex. How do you decide which of the laws God gave to the Jews still apply now and those that do not?
Agree with the bit about the problems of birth defects and stuff like that though caused by incest. You only have to look at our royal family, the result of hundreds of years of inbreeding to see why it just is so wrong!;)

I don't see how anyone can still believe in Adam and Eve....assuming that they also believe that the Earth is only like, 6,000 years old. :^(

I personally dont see how a random explosion could possibly make such a wonderful planet, never seen anything better than the original item come out of an explosion before but, hey each to their own beliefs.;)

The "big bang" wasn't an explosion. At all. It was a rapid expansion of space.

Call it what you like, I fail to see how you can mock a creator, God, and the Adam and Eve theory when you believe in that!

No you are wrong. It is a THEORY, just the same as the Adam and Eve thing. It has never been proved to be a fact.
Yup, it is a theory. Just like its a theory that there is gravity, and we go around the sun. They are all theories, and they are the best we can do to explain things with what we have.

In a nutshell, the reason why Adam and eve is impossible, is because they and their offspring would have to inbreed, which will slowly make the inbreeding species die off/horribly mutate. its inevitable.

I'm not defending religion, I just am talking about the theory of God and creation. And AEF, Grace has already explained your point, according to the God and creation theory, the first humans were perfect so mutation wouldn't happen.

Most Christians associate all bad things with sin, including mutations. This meant that since A&E sinned, their perfectness was stripped of them and they could have mutaitons. Especially their unperfect inbred children.

Really though guys, its impossible for 2 people to repopulate the earth in 6,000 years (the creationist's idea of how old the earth is). Especially with all the diversity in ethnicities, culture, language etc etc. Those take extremely long time periods to evolve.

I see your point but then people who believe in God probably don't believe different races evolved and that God can create the changes as quick as he wants.

No its a theory, if it was a fact a large percentage of the worlds population wouldn't believe in God, it would just be a handful of extremist and irrational oddballs.

A theory can be fact. Evolution is supported by so much physical evidence its literally staggering.

A lot of the world does believe in Evolution. Also, if your religious that doesn't mean you don't have to believe in evolution. There is such a thing as theistic evolution. A lot of religious people don't believe in Evolution because either A) They do not understand it or have really researched it B) They have religion so ingrained in their life that they will just deny it to the end.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying evolution didn't happen, it would be foolish to dismiss the possibility out of hand but thats the same with the creation theory too. I know there are many people who believe in evolution and many who believe in creation. I'm just saying that if either one was an undeniable fact the other side would virtually disappear apart from a few oddballs who will deny anything if it suits them.

Well, Like i said: People are so ingrained in their religion they will deny almost anything that threatens it. It also doesn't help that a TON of people don't even know what evolution really is.

Actually....I can't think of one example of something that supports a "creation" theory.
