I can ask my English Langauge teacher on Monday I guess but in my essays I've always done that and she has never mentioned it.

I was reading the baby
one chapter every night
of "Old Yeller"
we were almost to the end
when my pitbull chewed the book to smithereens
(probably out of jealousy)
just as well
the ending is too sad :(

studies have shown that even when they're infants,
it builds their reading and comprehension skills..
some mothers even read to them when they're in the womb

I read to my daughter alot when she was little and she loves to read now, shes only 7 and reading at a 3rd grade level. I also think it helps with her spelling.

Dominic won't hold still long enough for me to read to him. Or he wants to read the book by himself and won't let me look at it or point out things. He got a little too independent a little too fast.
