Chick Fil A faces back lash for presidents views on Family Values

Huh??? You need to do some research. Just because you stand in a church and have a ceremony doesn't mean you're legally married. That's equal to me saying that standing in front of the congregation claiming to be a born-again virgin makes me have an intact hymen.
You guys realize that being married goes beyond pieces of paper right

if you say the words in the ceremony with witnesses and a holy man, you're married.

it is just a matter of the state recognizing it. nonetheless, you're married.

You moderns only see things in the material. Transcendent things exist.

And when your "spouse" dies you're no longer "married" you're "fucked"...because you have absolutely no rights.

freedom of speech works both ways. hes entitled to his opinion though i dont agree with it. ive never eaten at a chik-fil-a before and i have no plans to.

think of the countries we depend on for our oil.. and how they feel about gay marriage. yet we still all buy and use oil.

that being said.. VIVA LA GAY MARRIAGE

I don't think acknowledging some parts of standing one's ground are harder than others is being a hypocrite. Hopefully people do what they can on all issue for which they are passionate. Every little bit helps. The least we can do is try to steer our "forward thinking" country towards human rights.

I gotta agree with this.

If boycotting chicken from a fast food restaurant and not driving to work because you have no gas in your car were equally feasible, and people consistently chose only to do the former, than I could understand the hypocrisy argument. But they're not.

And, the average American has more of a better chance of successfully changing American public policy than foreign.

its true. dont hate on an american company for their views but pass over the rest of the world because it would make your life more complicated.. if you want to stand your ground. do it but dont be a hypocrite about it

So what you are saying is, don't ever protest anything since we live in a global economy and everything is tied to everything in a way.

Don't protest low wages because your shoes were made in a sweat shop.
Don't protest Chick-fil-A because a percentage of your gas may have come from a nation that may have killed a homosexual
Don't protest companies that pollute because your electricity comes in part from coal fired plants
Don't protest blah blah blah, because blah

Yeah, yeah yeah, everything can be tied to everything. It doesn't make you a hypocrite for disagreeing with a company owner who happened to bring his company under fire for opening his mouth.
