The Mexican government is the only real criminal in this discussion. Having the U.S. as a direct trading partner, and the wealth of natural and cultural (touristy) resources Mexico has, there is ZERO excuse for their people to live in poverty.

The government of Mexico is abusing the U.S. by exporting their poor and destitute here, because they know that the U.S. dollars they send back make up the third largest source of income to the country.

Their laws and corrupt law enforcement make it all but impossible for the good people of Mexico to force change in their country.

The dream of coming to America, making some money, and supporting family back home is acting as a type of pressure valve for the social pressures of that nation. We are essentially aiding and abetting the Mexican government at the cost of not only U.S. society, but also poor Mexican lives.

Shameful.

There is no reason for them to be going to bed hungry. You can blame that on their parents, not this country. We have food banks and churches everywhere that provide free food.

I don't know what law you are talking about. He carried a gun and shot at many.
Well then you are calling many of our custom agents absurd. And you of course have a right to your opinion, but I don't agree with you.

Custom agents can shoot at people, but they do not do so for them 'just crossing the border'.

I think the same way. And after reading this I don't think you really understand what I am saying. I think you think that I am talking about picking off 'Ma and Pa looking for a better life as they cross the border', which is not what I am talking about at all.

I think many folks have Christians mixed up with Buddhists, of which I am not. I am a Jesus Freak, a disciple of God, whatever you want to call me, I don't care. And to answer your question, yes I would be able to pull the trigger to keep known terrorists, drug dealers, mobsters out of my home.

Societal problems such as poverty are not solely the parent's fault who were probably born into poverty themselves. Its not that simple, Grace. There's just so many food shelters, just so many people willing to work them, and the thousands and thousands in once city alone that need shelter and food.

I fully agree. The US has their hands dirty with the Mexican government too.

AEF, I never stated that poverty was solely the parent's fault. I stated that it is the parent's fault for their children going hungry.

In America we have food stamps. We have WICA (free food for children). We also have shelters, food banks, and churches that give out food for free or VERY cheap. I know I've worked at them, I've handed the food out. Not only have I helped feed people that needed food, I've been one of those people that needed food and got assistance. Getting food in America is NOT difficult. Go to Africa and try getting food in Swaziland, THAT is where it would be difficult to feed your kids.

So seeing that's its the parents fault that their children go hungry, do you thing that the innocent children should suffer for their parents sins?

Do I think they should? In a perfect world, I'd say no. But this is not a perfect world and all children suffer for their parent's sins. I suffered due to my parent's sins and my children suffer from mine.

I'm trying to do better than my parents did, and hopefully my children will do better than my husband and I have done. :)

LOL That is what you pulled from my comments? ha-ha.

I wish you could have known Saleen. I think you and Mac would have been great pals on this site. :)

I agreed with what you said, and then I added my own opinion about the US government, so no the second part didn't have to do with your comments.

Who are Saleen & mac?

Oh I see. Well that makes more sense.

Saleen was Mac's SN here. He and I had a similar relationship as we do. Constantly butting heads, but we got over the hostility part and started to just enjoy watching the other "extremist" rant. ha-ha. It was good times.

He needed an ally with some book smarts though. That's where you would have come in real handy for him. :D

I hear women and children are easier to shoot, since they are naturally slower than men. You know what is satisfying? Seeing high caliber rounds passing through a pregnant mexican's whom....her future child exploding inside. its ok though, she wasn't really a person to begin with, only an illegal.

It's womb, you moron. And weren't you supposed to be leaving?

Here's my 2 cents. I think that illegal immigrants need to be punished to the fullest extent. They come here just for a better life, to get a job, all that crap? Great, but they're taking away OUR jobs, costing US money, etc. If we went over there and started stealing jobs from them and doing a better job, I bet they'd get pissed too. If they don't want to LEGALLY become a citizen, they don't deserve to be one.

I still support my gasoline idea :D

Hey, you haven't been here that long buddy. Everybody here knows I'm a grammar/spelling nazi.

I mean, damn, women don't have "whoms". Whom is a word, it's just not what babies are in :)

But I wouldn't expect to know that, because you probably never get laid dood.

And that's what I like to call baited.
