I am totally sick of Trump. The birth certificate issue? Really???? Like Hillary Clinton or John McCain wouldn't have played that for all it's worth had it had real substance? Please..............

Unless of course the crafty man w/bad hair is actually working for Obama??? hmmmmmmm...... Play up the birth certificate for all it's worth and then when Barack produces it he suddenly rides the wave of sympathy over them mean GOP'er right into a second term?:humm: Nothing surprises me these days......

What I still don't understand about the birth certificate issue is the fact that Obama campaigned on transparency, but he is refusing to be transparent about this. Then again, that seems to be par for the course for anyone that sits in the Oval Office these days.

Edit: What about Rand Paul? He's obviously most likely not going to be running for President anytime soon. But would you vote for him?

I'm not a "birther" per se, but I don't understand why the President that promised us accountability is unwilling to put his money where his mouth is. Just show the damn document and it all ends with the people claiming he wasn't born in the United States looking like idiots.

I have to disagree with you here. Those who started this believe the document is fake, and incorrectly claims he was born in Hawaii. Showing the document would only dissuade those who are willing to have their mind changed with fact. Everyone else, and I'm sure a good deal would be left, will think it's more conspiracy.

How do you figure? If the document is shown, and authenticated by the State of Hawaii... I don't see any way that a "conspiracy" could continue. It would be an open and shut case. The only reason that there is a "conspiracy" right now is because Obama is fueling it by not releasing the birth certificate. I can only think of two reasons for doing that:

1) That those that believe Obama wasn't born in the United States are indeed correct.

or

2) He's planning on using this as a political weapon for his 2012 reelection campaign.

Either one of those is completely odious to me.

Well he hasn't done shit for the economy other than to allow the Federal Reserve to print more money, he spent about $850 billion on a failed stimulus plan, inflation is ramping up worse than it's been in most people's memories.

As far the birth certificate... it could simply be released to the press and then it would be over. The state of Hawaii would authenticate it, and bam. No more birthers, no more conspiracy, nothing.
