Another Hospital Visit

they dont even do that they send the paperwork with you to finish there usually lol

Nope we went straight to Maternity.. But like I said I refuse to take my wife home so they accepted to check her out.. She was 8 cm dilated and sent straight to the delivery room.. If I recall right ( time zoomed by so fast ) it was 40 minutes and our son was born..

All of this happened so fast it was scary.. But like I said they refused at first to admit her and she was in tears..

Welp.. BP is high, but they arent concerned. Says they are only worried if it stays the same highness for a long time. The blood is the bloody show from the mucus plug being gone now. I am 3-4 cm dilated 60 percent effaced.. Contractions werent strong so they didnt worry about that.. and they told me that swelling was completely normal.. go figure. No protein in my urine - so they dont think I have preeclamsia.. so basically, I was told to wait it out. urg!

I am sorry they are making you wait sweetie. I know what that part is like.. I spent the last month of being pregnant with Liam with much of the same trips to the Labour and Delivery Triage and then being sent home. Tons of blood tests.

Well it's good to hear it's nothing serious, but I know it's still hell dealing with it! He'll be here soon! Yay!

And here we also go straight to the maternity ward. They have a room to check everything out in and if they decide you are staying you get moved straight to the room you will stay in and deliver in. I like it that way.
