I'll be honest, I don't know much about that sort of situation. I wanted them to take both pregnancies early due to not sleeping, back pain, random contractions, being huge, and the babies being big already... they kept saying wait. Guess it's drilled in there now...

Wasn't trying to upset you :(...

Can you just tell the doc take him then? If they say his lungs are good?

nooo you didnt upset me at all!!! Im sorry that it come off that way. I just have sooo many people saying that and it drives me crazy. I know you only mean the best for us. :) I am sorry it came out that way.

And yes, I am miserable. cant sleep, back pain and ofcourse being HUGE. lol :(

Try a cool cloth on your forehead while lying down. Try taking deep breaths and exhaling slowly while relaxing all the parts of your body from head to toe.

The womens center is in the hospital. Its where they treat all the prego people. Yes, My doc was my doc there. They are on call - so one of the people in the practice thats working that night is the one that handles whoever comes in.

Im getting alot of headaches. My BP was 157/96 - my normal is like 118/80 or something close to that. Im not on BP meds.. Im not sure why they arent seeming like they are concerned with it

I am sorry to hear that you're still having continuous headache(s). That must really be uncomfortable given you're also on your last trimester with all the discomforts that come with it :( hugs.gif

Anyway, am still bewildered as to why they ignored your high BP and that you were symptomatic. I do understand of course they didn't have to worry about the lower/2nd Bp number 96 a that's okay but the 157 is high given your baseline BP. My Qn is- are you monitoring your BP while at home on bedrest? If you remain to have the headaches that can be due to lack of circulation to your head area as it is higher than your heart and of course pull of gravity- harder for blood to go up there. I suggest, u monitor your BP and let them know about your symptoms. They wont mind if you keep on calling them as that's their job to keep you and your baby healthy. Maybe if you keep on bugging them, they'll take it seriously this time. Hope you feel better soon and can't wait to see pics of Jaxon soon ;)

Not sure. They told me that I would have some discharge from them checking me.. But to come back if it was bright red. well.. its bright red but covered in mucus...not sure whats going on.. Ive been having contractions again but I think its because I stopped taking those pills.. So now I just gotta wait and see what happens. Ive got ALOT of pressure going on too.

Wow.. TMI for sure.. sorry.

Not as cool as 11-11-11. :D Hope the little man decides to join us soon. :)

V, are you crazy.. You tell a guy to stop reading, he is bound to LOOK.. :D

When we had our son he was actually late and I took my then wife to the hospital after hearing for over 2 months ( WILL I EVER HAVE THIS BABY )..

They told me to take her back home and come back when contractions would be at so many seconds apart.

I told them that I was not leaving until they had looked at her ( my wife ) to make sure all was fine.

When they checked they found her to deliver and sent her straight to a delivery room.. Has we waited we would have had the baby in the car on the way home..

My thought on it is gut instinct will tell when you need to push the doctors and when you do, don't stop.. You know your body best..

zk is ready to kick a doctors ass. lol He wants me to go back to the hospital too.. but I dont want to go to just get sent home again. This hospital is so strange about what they worry about. I think I am gonna have to wait until I am in FULL labor before I go back again. last time, by the time I got there, I was having contractions 2 minutes apart.. but that isnt good enough for them. I dunno what the hell is going on. Ive never had this much trouble with docs before. :(

V My bad as i did not see that end post of your TMI about the mucus. This is the info from this site......please read, I think V, you really need to go to the hospital ASAP. I am sorry if its becoming dictatorial now :p

Mucus discharge during pregnancy third trimester may be in the form of a prolonged expulsion of sticky, blood stained, fluid or the expulsion of a blob of mucus. At the onset of the pregnancy, a mucus blob plugs the opening of the uterus. This acts as a barrier and prevents the entry of infection causing germs into the uterus, thus safeguarding the developing baby. Thick mucus discharge during late pregnancy is generally an expulsion of this mucus plug in preparation for labor and child birth. Mucus discharge during pregnancy 39 weeks is generally a sign of inevitable labor. When accompanied by bleeding, it is referred to as a bloody show.

I don't mean to scare you, but a sis in law of mine lost her baby as she followed what her MD said when she was having the same symptoms like yours. She was sent home for several times and on the third time she gave up bugging the MD's as she was tired too like you being sent home every time. I hope that info about the mucus secretion you have helps as you're right that the mucus plug is out. Everyone's right and I agree with Francis- sometimes you need to push them for them to do something.....i know that's disheartening but pls dont risk yourself an your baby :(

I have no idea why but when I am in a serious mood, I have no problems getting things done. Nobody messes with me.. Even my ex still comes to me to get things done.. Must be the burning look in my eyes but I certainly have a way of not getting upset, staying calm but making my point I am not taking no for an answer.

29 years of dealing with specialists of all types have shown me the way to deal with them.. Also having our daughter with her issue and the patience of a Saint ( so she says ) must have been a great combination.. :D

Anyway, don't let it get to you and do some pushing back if you feel the need to for both you and the babies best interest.
