yes they are Mourning Doves

I am guessing they are the same pair which have been around for a few years now.

aww aren't they lovely. They are they only type of pigeon breed i enjoy in my garden, Morning Doves have such a lovely coo. Great shots Bill.

yes they are Mourning Doves

Other than Sparrows and Grackles, Mourning Doves are the predominant bird here.

Took this the other day. Kind of boring but is a sign of spring. I knew what this bird was but a couple others I had no clue until I put them on the computer. Turns out one was a dove. The other one did not come out clear enough to see. There were several birds but hard to get a good view due to the density of the woods. I could hear a woodpecker going nuts but it was way too far off and too difficult to get to.
