those are some pretty birds
thanks Flip
I saw yours today. very nice
I make no claim to be good at this so any input is always welcome.Hey--- just for future reference, I loved the lighting and everything, and I liked the angle, but you should get a few shots from one angle and then try going around and finding a new angle. it can be difficult to move around with this kind of subject, but some of those pics could have been master peices if you had been able to take them in a different angle.
Just giving you some constructive criticism![]()
I agree with you but auto can work just fine. The hardest thing for me is to go walking for a couple of hours and not get a decent shot. All I ever ask for from an outing is one nice shot. If I get it to me it's worth the effort.I have no patience. And I am too lazy to study up. So it is on the auto most of the time. I never was a book learner. I need to find a club or somebody with the hobby and go out with that person and take pics and get hands on advice. If I do it a few times I will be fine. Reading in a book and then going out every couple of weeks don't cut it.
This nature trail is only a few minutes from my house. less than a third of a mile to the near entrance. I do not go there as much as I should.. Once you get in the path winds around and it probably close to a couple miles if you go along every path. There are deer in there but I have only seen one. It jumped into the bushes and stood still. I had jut purchased the camera tried to take pics but it needed a manual focus due to the brush. Would have been a decent pic but the autofocus got confused.I agree with you but auto can work just fine. The hardest thing for me is to go walking for a couple of hours and not get a decent shot. I remember that picture. At least you gave it a good try.
