The Tigers have spiraled into their annual inter league play slump, compounded with their general team disarray (aka Leyland playing musical chairs with the lineup) slump, and shittiest bullpen in the effing AL slump...

I will admit, I'm punching my fair weather fan card until things settle down in my home life :p

This is really the only reason the Rays are tied for first place in the ALEast, Joe Maddon's mad scientist skills. Too bad Rays lose to Tigers.

Also Indians continue to impress, first team to 30 games.

I was surprised we won, especially with Coke leaving (not that he's that good anyway oy). Joe Maddon is great, you have a good team there.

Gah!

You are a fair weather fan? I feel like everything I knew up to this point has been a lie. :24:

Haha no, I couldn't be or I wouldn't have watched them lose all these years :p
Everyone gets a fair weather fan card though, for emergency purposes :24:

I have never pulled mine out. :D

Jim Leyland isn't your manager :p
Nah, I kid...they do what they can. It's just a shame to see a lot of talent go to waste because it's in left field one day, a Mudhen the next, benched after, and closing out the week as a short stop. Tough to get a groove going.

It just keeps getting better and better.

Marlon Byrd gets his face destroyed on Saturday in Boston, and now Matt Garza makes our third starter headed to the DL. It's not even June and I'm about ready to throw in the towel on the season.

Do any of you guys have a favorite announcer? If you dont have MLB.tv or the MLB Extra Innings it might be harder to hear the others.

Twins announcers are pretty good, cant stand the whitesox or yankees announcer.
Dewayne Staats is my favorite tbh.

Posey is out for the season with a broken ankle and ligament damage.... huge blow for the defending World Champs.

As far as announcers go... I was obviously a huge fan of Harry Caray. My current announcing dream team would have to be Jon Miller on PbP and Steve Stone on color. I like the current Cubs team of Kasper and Brenley though, but I miss Stoney being in the booth. I also think that Chip Caray is an excellent broadcaster, but that view doesn't seem to be shared by a lot of people. But I think the broadcasting talent skipped (ha ha, incoming pun) a generation in that family, because Skip was absolutely horrible.

Fractured lower leg bone, I figured it has a medical name, but that's all I can find.

He needs to be careful, between this and the taking balls to the face issue, I am worried.

There's two of them, the tibia and fibula... tibia is in the front, fibula is back and to the side. I had the misfortune of breaking them both on the growth plate of my ankle.

I have my patellar tendon screwed into my tibia. It's awesome. :sarcasm
