We finally picked up another series win today. :D Looks like the bats may be heating up finally... unfortunately, we're down three starters and dredging the minors for new ones.

Good God.

Now Zambrano went to see the doctor after the game today... at the rate we're going, we'll have an entirely new starting rotation by the middle of June.

Damn.

We have Zito, Ford, Sandoval, and Posey on the DL.

I could not give two shits about Zito, but we need the others.

Yeah, we're down three starters, two relievers (one was a call-up after another injury though), our starting catcher, and our starting CF.

But, I just read that Z's stiff neck is fine, and won't endanger his next start, and Wells is due to come back on Saturday. Huzzah!

Were down 160 million bucks to effectively compete in our own division. Through pro scouting and drafting (10 picks of the first 60 this year! [first 12 or 89]) we may be able to properly contend in 2013.

Sort of looking forward to the 2nd wild card addition.

Well, seeing as how you guys made it to the World Series a few years back, you can't really complain about not competing :p

In other news though, I love watching this kid play

One run in 14 years isnt going to make me all satisified lol, not with the great management the rays have. You can say the some teams (cubs) have been in a far worse drought, but its not due to anything out of their hands.

I do feel bad for the pirates though.

I'm a Cubs fan, so I feel no sympathy :p :24:

The Rays are doing pretty good still. Not far behind (my beloved) Yanks. The only team doing kind of bad right now is the Twins.
Lookout Spankees...Red Sox Train is coming into winnertown....:nod::nod::nod::nod::nod::nod:
