I desperately want to go back to Chicago to see some games at Wrigley. I haven't been there since I was 5... so that was 23 years ago. For shame.

At the start of the season there were a few games where the Giants looked like the Pirates defensively. I turned a couple of games off it was so painful.
As far as last night, thanks to young Mr. Darren Ford the Giants came through with the W in the 10th!
I am going to keep an eye on Ford. He isn't amazing in the outfield, yet. He does however run like lightening. He's an amazing baserunner.

Yes, I caught the highlights. I love an aggressive outfielder. It reminds me when Aaron Rowand was with Philly, and he ran into the wall and broke his nose while catching a ball. That is the definition of a gamer!

I have to agree, after so many years of watching Ordonez clearly weigh out the pros and cons of committing to a catch/throw, I appreciate someone out there putting it on the line lol.

Tigers are making up for their sweep by being lit up by Seattle two days in a row. Ryan Raburn cannot catch a ball. Get him out of there. He has great bat potential but it isn't worth the risk.

That's where we're at right now too... it's absurd. We're 2nd in MLB in BA, 7th in OBP, but 21st in runs scored. :thumbdown
