I guess I don't believe you about it costing nothing. I know people working for small companies and to buy into health insurance is $600+ per month except they can't afford it and still pay their rent, groceries, put gas in their cars and every day living expenses. Who provides your health insurance?

Costs my employees nothing also--we pay it. And that's the ridiculous thing about Universal Healthcare--that will help most all the businesses that voluntarily provide health benefits (and there's plenty of them) because now that cost is going to be shifted to the federal government and so taxpayers are going to foot the bill for healthcare for everyone!!!!

I don't know what that has to do with my statement. I have no problem at all and in fact wholly support a social safety net for situations like yours but not permanently. Your situation sucks, but yes--you needed (or need) to work as well as raise your children. Millions of women both single and married work as well as raise their children. Is it your position that every single mother should be supported by the government?




I don't know why you say I am shallow--I simply believe that able bodied people who are able to work should work. How is that shallow and how did I label anyone?

You dont act like it because you dont know.......and you most likely dont care to know. However, the politics of the United States impacts Canada.... doesnt take an Einstein to know that.... so yes, i do know and pay attention to the political landscape of the US.

Uhhh---just listening to the liberal, anti-american media and in Canada and parroting what they say does not constitute understanding US poltiics. I am quite sure you know little to nothing about Constitutional Law for example, or the US Economy. Its always funny for me to read the comments from people outside the US--its nothing more than a parroting of what they are being told by their media--like puppets the media manipulates the general public both there and here. The only difference is here we at least have other sources of information whereas in Canada and Europe the press had completely monopolized the stream of information--you hear and know only what they want you to hear and know.
