Didn't vote for him...don't support his policy on the war in Iraq...and think, unfortunately, that too many people voted for him based solely on his race and THAT is a said commentary (equally as sad as those who didn't vote for him based SOLELY on his race).

If I could of voted, I would have voted between Palin and Biden. Because Obama might be assassinated and McCain is really old and might die. So I thought it was important to really look at the VP's and since Biden is okay and I despise Palin I chose Obama. I probably would have chosen McCain if their VP's were switched. But if they didn't have a VP at all and I was just deciding on them I would have chosen Obama anyways; for various reasons.

I have to say that I did not vote for him because I over all did not agree with his stance on many issues... I am glad that America finally showed some balls and got out there and voted BUT am afraid that if the Presidential race would have been 2 men of the same race running against each other there would not have been such good voter turn out... that is sad. I am offended by the people that want to call any McCain supporter a "racist"... I feel that is unfair and noone is calling an Africian-American Obama supporter a racist...so PLEASE can people just drop the race card for a while...
I agree with the other post that many people voted solely on the race issue (either against or for Obama) and that does not make for a good informed vote. The economy will turn back around, it always does not matter who is voted in.

This is not my happy face. I think we should just all bend over and get the ass raping over with. We are so fucked. Sadly, I'm a democrat and just couldn't vote for someone that has admitted to going to flag burning gatherings and won't wear the flag or stand up when the anthem is played, because he "Does not want it to look as if he is choosing sides. Um...did I miss something...I thought he was supposed to be on a side...like I don't know...AMERICA'S?
