Harry for Swansea wouldn't be good, but in a dream world he would be my #1 choice.
So word is now that Huw Jenkins spoke to Laudrup 10 days a go, (Huw has been on holidays for about a week) and that the announcement is expected on the weekend. Laudrup isn't even in the country yet. Huw is speaking to his staff and having various meetings at the Liberty today. Not really expecting something official to come today.
Everyone seems to think Moyes to Spurs is a good match, can't say I know enough about that to agree or disagree.
One thing I did want to bring up, though is that for a start, I've been really pleasently surprised with the positive feedback from fans of other teams on appointing Laudrup as manager. I've barely heard a negative opinion (bar Cardiff fans) about him. People on Twitter are so quick to sprout negative, silly, nasty comments just because they can and football is no exeption. But the majority think it's great for Swansea and the Premier League that he (probably) is coming. I know a bad run can change opinions like the wind, but for now let's just enjoy it!
Secondly, I've been reading a bunch of posts from Liverpool fans saying they wern't happy with the Rodgers signing in the first place but now that we're getting Laudrup whilst they get him, and we've scooped up $7M for the pleasure, we've got the better end of the bargain. Now, Laudrup hasn't managed a game in the PL yet, and BR hasn't managed one game for Liverpool. The opinions are a bit hasty, but one can't help feeling a certain way. My memory is crap, but I'm sure we have some Liverpool fans here, right? What do you make of this? Do you know anyone who feels this way?
