Real Football (Soccer to you Yanks) Thread

I'll give you Suarez, he's been the player who got you a top ten finish.

But don't stop there, are there perhaps more £35mil 6'4 paperweights out there who need to play for Liverpool?

We will see at the end of the transfer window who we've attracted. I don't thin Dalglish is interested in "Big" players who just want a pay packet at the end of the week

at coventry we have this midfielder, young icelandic kid called aron gunnarsson, racks will know who i mean......this young lad will go onto bigger and better things eventually....now imagine if you will, its decided he's leaving and liverpool, chelsea and man united all put in a bid......who do you think would be the first club he classes as a non starter?

Not sure how many more seasons Liverpool can say this is our year before they start to look a bit silly... there is nothing wrong with admitting you are in the second tier of teams in the premier league.. Hell, Newcastle aren't even there, we are in the relegation worthy teams, and I like most Newcastle fans realize we are rather shit.

Personally I think Liverpool would be his first pick as he could walk in our team, first team football is attractive...
Plus Liverpool with the new owners have money now... Money talks... Look at city.
See how the new owners do in their first summer transfer window then will see...

lol :D

Liverpool fans have real struggles with reality. They truly believe that their history counts for something, and that people who don't support Liverpool are attracted and swayed by what the club did in a few years around the late 70's and early 80's.
