As hard as I find it to believe in God, I find it even harder to believe that God would dislike one of his children loving and caring for another one of his children. Even if they are of the same sex.
Jesus preached most about hypocracy. And yet, modern christianity seems rife with it. Christ did not command us to go out into the world and force people to believe as you do. The voice of christianity seems exclutionary, reactionary and repressive. Part of the reason I have no place of worship.
God does not have a problem with his children loving and caring for another. It is the sexual act that God says is a sin.
Think what you like, just don't force(legislate) your beliefs on the rest of us.
So they can hold hands and be in each other's hospital room, just not have sex??
Yeah I just don't buy it. If they are loving and caring people, I doubt very much that god would look down upon them.

Seriously, this is just another point for darkness to distract from the true message. Love God with all your heart, mind, body, and soul, and love your neighbor as yourself. These 2 commandments will fulfill all the other 'laws'.
Now the trick is understanding the difference between what God says is love and what this world says is love. And for that you'll need to open the Word and take a journey.

I don't think you are forcing your opinions on others by stating them on here. That's what forums are for! Your opinions are very well stated. Forcing them on others would be making same sex marriages illegal. As long as you aren't trying to do that, I have no problem with you at all. I'm sorry my statement before didn't come off very well.

I do disagree since the definition of marriage throughout the world isn't just 1 man and 1 woman. I hate when the definitions of words are twisted and forced to be new and totally different things just because they are used wrong a lot. It just depends on your perspective as to what marriage means.
