It has been over an hour and he is still in the interview. I think that may be a good sign.

After the interview he is going to a job fair but said he'd call me.

I'll let you guys know when I hear something.

Thank you for your prayers.

Fondly,
Grace

Here is the email my DH sent out to all of our friends and family when he got home:

Well, I had the interview with "company" this morning and it went very well. I was with the Store Manager for 1 hour and 20 minutes talking about the job first, then moving on to more personal things like family and outdoor stuff...which he initiated, thank goodness. Anyway, he said I was the last interview for the position and I will hear from either him or the HR coordinator for the region by the end of the week. More prayers are being asked for, so please keep them coming! Thanks to everyone who has prayed and if I don't thank you personally, all of you are in my prayers.

DH

Sounds like you have got a very intelligent husband :)
I am keeping my fingers, toes, and eyes crossed for him.
For some reason I just have a good hunch about this

We are going on a month now. Some days are more difficult than others and my faith level has been on a roller coaster ride. The stress of the situation is manifesting itself in me physically which is not helping matters. Even though I keep walking forward thinking that I am handling things fine - I'm getting headaches, hives, acne, bloated, fatigue, etc. It is quite irritating because the majority of the time I don't consciously feel stressed, but then I suffer the physical symptoms that just remind me of what is going on. :ninja GRRRR!

My husband goes to a class called 'a case for Christ' on Wednesday nights. I'm in school on Wednesday nights. Anyway, our Pastor gave my DH $100. Some other friends of ours gave him an envelope with $650 and a $100 gift card to the grocery store. We opened the envelope together once I got home from school.

I don't know why I continue to allow doubt to creep in. I know God loves me and my family and that He shows me His love through my friends and family. I know my faith activates truth. I'm all a pillar of strength when the going is good. Let it get scary and watch me wobble. I wish I could have the same measure of faith when the going gets tough.

Where the rubber hits the road is really a test of our true character.

Because you are human. God knows that and He isn't surprised. Even He had doubts and fears. The bottom line is when it's all over, and when things can finally start going back to normal, then where is your faith. If I know you, you'll be grateful and in awe and retain your faith even more because of your appreciation.

Hun, maybe because you try to tell yourself you are doing good you are having psicosomatic symptoms. Just don't worry about how you feel, even towards God because that is only human. That just makes me love you more anyway and soon you will be able to be greateful to God again :)

What is psicosomatic?

Don't misunderstand me - I am plenty grateful. It is the pillar of strength that I am not right now.

Thanks for offering your perspective/insight and kind words.

Ditto Breath. Tried to rep. You are such a smart girl I am often in awe of your contributions the way you express yourself. Really. Cheers to you.

(for those interested in what is going with us at the moment)

Praise report from my DH:

To All,

I wanted to say thank you to two people for helping my family. A*** F**** and M***** S******. A**** and M**** have been friends for a very long time and A**** was kind enough to let me know that M***** needed some help on a jobsite today. I worked with M***** all day and had a great time...a little sore (not used to all that manual labor stuff) but it was good. Thank you A**** and M******!!!

An update on 'National Company'...
Yes, I did receive a call from their HR Manager from their corporate offices in Nebraska today, and I have my third interview scheduled with her via phone on Monday morning. 3rd time is a charm...keep praying!!!

I almost forgot...M****, I have your box cutter still, I will give it to A**** on Sunday. Once again, thanks. Call me if you need me again.

Sincerely,
DH
