I am so sorry this has happened to your family. I have seen from your presence here how strong you are and if your husband is half as strong as you, I bet he will do fine. I hope and pray he finds something even better.

Thanks guys. I woke up feeling more relaxed this morning, though I had a bit of trouble going to sleep last night.

Last evening I went to a class called "The Case for Christ" where we are studying historical and scientific evidence for Christ, and anyway, everyone there is looking for a job for my husband as well. We have many people pulling for us and praying for us. I feel so very blessed to have so many wonderful people trying to help us. Saturday I'll be getting some free food from the church as every bit of money I can save means that I'll be able to have that money for bills. Every little bit helps.

Well it is been a week and a couple of days now. We've got our mortgage paid through the end of the year.

DH has sent out more than 50 resumes and we haven't heard anything back yet. The bills are rolling in and the money isn't.

The church filled us up with food for a family of 5 so we are doing ok there.

He'll get unemployment, but it is not even enough to pay the mortgage, but it is better than nothing.

It is causing anxiety in the home and DH and I have already snipped at each other and not had the same amount of loving patience that we normally do with one another.

I really don't like this.

Thanks for the kind words Sparkler. I can tell that you know exactly what we are going through.

This last week has been difficult for me. I've been feeling 'down'. Reading the Bible hasn't made me feel better. And when I go to pray, I've ended up yelling at God. What a great testimony I am, eh?

Then I ended up feeling like such a butt for being so ugly. One of my friends brought over 4 bags of groceries. Another friend brought over presents for my kids and a card for me with $200/gift in it. Family has sent us $700/gift. And our church gave us 5 bags of groceries.

When I felt alone, it wasn't long before God's blessings were bestowed on us. Even though I was ugly and pissed off at God, He didn't turn his back on me.

So we have enough to get us through for probably another 2 to 3 weeks.

DH has put in appx. 70 resumes and we have also had about 5 of our friends put a good word in for him where they work. No interviews yet, but hopefully he will be getting some call backs this week so that he can start setting up job interviews.

I felt much better after church today. My spirit feels a bit more calm and hopeful.

Wow Grace... it is good to see that you have such a good support group by your side. Im glad they can all help you in times like this. Try to keep your head up and dont give up hope. Maybe this was all for the best and he will get a better paying job. Im here for you if you need to talk. <hugs>
