To be honest, you should see a doc before starting any supplements too. Just because they're "natural" doesn't mean they can't have side effects.

I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest not ploughing all manner of drugs into your system... Maybe I'm completely out of touch; but perhaps you're in this problem in the first place because of dependencies....

You want to lose weight and you can't sleep. Yet you're not considering exercise. Not even sit ups or press ups. This is mad to me. I was doing some pretty intense exercise for two and a half hours yesterday evening. I ached something awful, but I slept like a baby.

There is still lots of controversy on that topic.. Many believe that exercise at night time can raise epinephrine that cause us to be more alert.

To me, more exercise during the day is the best way to go. Nothing better than fresh air and a dose of a good work out to get me a great night sleep..

And yes MoonOwl is right.. No heavy foods before bed time as it sits in your stomach..

Just my two cents worth..
