I notice lately more men hide their age or do not want to tell rather than women so i don't think either only women
I have no problem with the age i am and i never hide how old sometimes i think maybe i will tell am 40 rather 36 and let people think i look very young lol

I hated turning 30 and the whole week leading up to my birthday was in a funk. Im not exactly sure why, but part of it for me was when I was growing up 30 was always the old marker. Most of the age charts etc when you turn 30 it puts you in the next age bracket. And lets face it when you turn 30 thats the age that you really should have your shit together and I didnt feel like I was there yet. Im closer to 40 now, and having a hard time with that birthday coming right around the corner also so Im sure its not going to be a good one either.
Between 30 & 31 was difficult for me because my dad died before his 31st birthday of a brain anuerysm. I probably spelled that wrong and don't feel like looking it up. Most people I know are shocked when they find out my age or my weight. I hide both pretty well. ie...I don't act my age.
Every now and then I get this wash of complete dread when I think about my age, and I'm only 25.
I think about being 40+, and I get panicky, because I know for myself I won't be a hot 40 year old like many are, as I already look ragged and old for my age now. I've not been a hot anything :24: I cannot stand the idea of no longer having anything remotely attractive about my face and body to stand with my personality, it's terrifying. Like...pop a xanax terrifying.

Age is just a number. Take care of yourself and drink lots of water. I know a lot of hot women older than me.
I try to eat healthy, exercise and drink water...it's just the stress I haven't been so good at watching. My whole life, it just shows on my face imo. Plenty of women can look amazing late into their life, I just can't imagine I will be one of them if I don't look amazing even in my 20s :24:
i'm 50 now,and looking back your 30's are a good period to be at,though i think theres a thing about completing any dacade of life..it didn't bother me so much because turning 50 means i'm another year closer to retiring and putting my feet up and letting everyone else get out of bed at ungodly hours
Can someone please explain to me why purchasing a motorcycle or corvette when you are a certain age qualifies you for being in a mid-life crisis? Most people cannot afford these things until they hit a certain point in their careers which usually happens in the mid 30s. I think this is ridiculous statement honestly. :dunno
i'm thinking of getting a bike,its not a crisis thing though......i just like the idea of long rides in the summer months
There are typically a set of behaviors that accompany the purchase in a mid-life crisis. Mood swings, acting out of character, creating unusual new goals or discarding of old goals, etc. It all comes abruptly and intensely, usually when the person is settled with a family.

That's because men mature much slower than women.Typically, but lets not stereotype.
Actually, though, the issue is that the maturation process seems to reverse in the crisis. Typically you have a mature male (or female) who is settled for some time and moving in one direction...then BAM...all out of sorts and changing everything very quickly.
Since there is a hill behind me what I have seen among my friends is as follows.

Its not really a "crisis", but maybe an epiphany. Society forces to think we want to have a spouse, 2 kids a big house with a giant mortgage and whatever else. Maybe it just takes some a long time to realize that isn't what they really wanted and need to act quickly to change. I'm not saying this is the way to go, but a woman cannot begin to explain how a man thinks, nor can a man begin to explain how a woman thinks.
