IDGAF.. She lit the fucking dog on fire. The dog could of bitten her yes. i've been jumped on by dogs and shit but I never fucking lit them on fire. IF she was some special needs child and I say IF because you're reaching here. Then where the fuck was the parent in this situation when this happened?

Dana, did you even bother reading what I wrote or did you just see what you wanted and decided to bash the post ?

Perhaps you might want to reconsider reading it..

I'm fine with Dana's point as long as Dana would be fine with me not giving a shit if he got attacked. I mean Dana could theoretically punch someone and cause someone harm so it would be no big deal if someone tortured him.

I haven't read all the posts in this thread and am wondering if anyone besides me noticed this in the article...

" A neighbor who witnessed the brutal animal assault said she first saw the 14-year-old, whose name was not released, hit the dog with a shovel then pour gasoline on the animal. "

My question is ... why the hell didn't the neighbor do anything to try and stop the bitch ?

There is a chance that this poor girl is also abused by her parents or what not!

I'm getting real tired of hearing that statement and as far as I'm concerned it's just an excuse. If anyone on this planet should understand what it's like being abused it's a person that's been abused so why the hell do they carry on with the practice.

:( poor baby dog, that's horrible.

(for a second I thought the picture was of the teen, I was like :eek damn kids are living hard nowadays!)
*chuckle* I thought the same thing.

The child is sick and needs help NOW.

Just a wild guess, but I'd say because she had a shovel and a can of gasoline.

I get the idea that this girl might have serious issues, but you know, she might just also be a nasty person :dunno

I mean, her mother didn't even take the dog to vet till a day later, which suggests the kid hasn't grown up in a family that's big on showing compassion to animals.

None of us know what her mental state is like so none of us can say definitively either way what will help. Maybe she really needs psychological help or perhaps she just needs a good hard lesson in why it's a bad idea to be a bitch to other creatures.

That didn't cross my mind but a couple of other things did ..............

) She could have called the cops

) For some strange reason I have a fuzzy picture :D in my head of exactly what the neighborhood and residents look like and it isn't a pretty sight. Single digit IQ's, tar-paper shacks and a coat of many colors.

Somebody called the cops. Maybe it was her. I imagined a similar neighborhood. I don't know many adults that would expect such violence out of a girl, and might be stunned awhile if they saw it.

That's where you're wrong. I'm no psychologist but it doesn't take a genius to think that this could very well escalate from animals to human beings.

To be honest I am wrong there, that is what happens when you are multi-tasking :24:

I have to admit I would be stunned as hell but I'm thinking shovel & a can of gas not withstanding I would be brave enough to mozzie on over and put a stop to the madness. I'm not one that wants to play Buddist Monk but I doubt she would do it to a human. Even though she's from Missouri I gotta give he a bit of credit knowing right from wrong.

Hint: 24 hours is mentioned in the article. ;)

We know it wasn't the neighbor because a cop would have called in some sort of medical assistance unless Missouri is unique ;) in that department as well.

So........... um................... my money is on the vet or shelter that first saw the dog. Why? Because one of the skanks waited a day to seek medical treatment which if I do my math right is the better part of 24 hours give or take.

Beats me but we are trying to figure it out.
