exactly the only reason people see racism is because of the photo. To you, the intent was something racist.
To me, the intent was "there really are idiots out there."
It all depends on your view of the world, I suppose.

All I have to say is "Kee$ha"
:joke:
A black girl's name? Really? I would have said Russian first. :dunnoActually, it's Ke$ha.Anybody else watch Glee??? I giggled everytime the principle called her "Key-dollar sign-ha." LOL
As for the joke, I've seen it before and it's mildly funny at best. I didn't find it racist, but I deal w/ enough stupid people of all races that speak in Ebonics that I wouldn't. Wow at the seriousness of this thread, though...way crazy.
And, for the record, I've been told many times that I have "a black girl's name."

lol, someone said I had a black girl's name, too. Anastasia? really? It's Greek!! You can't get any more white than that!! lol
L0L....I agree that the Ebonics speaking blacks would mistake you guys to have a black girl's name. They dont go by the origin of the names but by how common those names are with them especially those ending in sha/sia
Chicago has tons of Ebonics speaking Blacks'Aight' ( alright ) :24:
To be fair, the people who were expecting me to be African-American were also basing that expectation off the fact that I had a kid when I was 20 and I'm not married and I'm attending community college.
I'm certain they're not the most intelligent people in the world. (the people making the judgement...just to be clear! lol)

They both sound Russian to me, especially Anastasia.
