I've thought about moving before, I like it here but because Milton Keynes is a feeder town for London or something, it'd be cheaper to move to somewhere nearby. Not sure it'll ever happen though, I was born here

I've never been to an Ikea. I've looked in the catalogue and wished my flat looked as amazing as the ones in the catalogue.


Aye I get what you mean. I was born in Wycombe. Imogen was born in Wycombe (they have the same curtains in the ward as they did in 1989!). All I wanted was to move out of Wycombe. I finally move away and just want to move back!

Clarification: Sam didn't actually leave. She was absent from the first few episodes of season 8 (because of a real-life pregnancy) which led me to believe she had left. Honestly, if you can get through season 8 you should try finishing the series because it picks up after that. I thought season 9 was fantastic and my reading on season 10 is making me chipper.

Yeah? I might see if my dad has them, he kept watching after I stopped I think but I don't know how far he got. He's constantly lending me TV shows to watch.

I think season 8 was so awful because they thought that it was going to be the last season. They were basically tying up loose ends with the Goa'uld and the Replicators. Then they got picked up for another two seasons so they ended up going in an entirely new direction...a good direction. O'Neill does leave, which is sad, but he still makes the odd appearance here and there.

I wish they'd never let Teal'c grow his hair, I can say that much.

Haha, yeah...Teal'c's hair sucks. In the show I think O'Neill gets a promotion to Washington. Beau Bridges plays General Landry, who assumes command of the SGC. Ben Browder plays Colonel Cam Mitchell, who comes in to lead SG-1. I like both of them. :nod:

I'm a fan of actors turning up in several different sci-fi shows like in Atlantis, Jewel Staite from Firefly turns up, and so does Robert Picardo from Voyager.

Yup, same guy. Claudia Black, whom I believe is also from Farscape, also makes appearances in season 9 and is a regular in season 10. She's pretty cool too.

I don't think so. I think she's just added on. There's a love-hate relationship between her and Daniel. It's quite amusing.

In other fantastic news, it turns out my boss isn't coming into the office tomorrow after all!


Apparently he's going to send us a list of tasks instead, and we have to fill out who currently does what and how long each one takes. Which is like asking how long a piece of string is, my jobs all vary depending on what calls/emails I get during the day. Looking forward to writing 'cannot provide accurate estimate' as many times as possible.
