i have a regular phone. Samsung Trance. but my upgrade is in a month and i'll be getting a blackberry. maybe.....depends on what other options there are. im loyal to Samsung brand though. i will hate having to upgrade to a full keyboard and/or all touch screen. i like the numeric keypad lettering. i can text while driving (yes i do it) because i dont have to use both hands to text AND i dont have to look at my phone! my eyes are on the road the entire time while texting because i know where the numbers/letters are and know how many times to push to get to the letter i want.

anyway.....DH has the Droid Incredible. ive been playing around with it to get use to the differences and the touch screen since i'll most likely be upgrading to a touchscreen. we'll see come Feb.

My sister has the incredible and loves it... if you want to stick with Samsung, the Fascinate is your best bet. Assuming you're with Verizon (since you're talking about the Incredible), the iPhone will most likely be close to release for Verizon when you're up for renewal.

You're still distracted even THAT way, IMO. My Vortex has speech to text capabilities and I used that for text messaging if I'm on the road, but I'm still distracted to a point.

thanks for the info! yes im with verizon. i remember seeing an ad for the Fascinate and liking it. BUT.....hubby is also talking about when its time for me to upgrade, we might change to AT&T and get iphones (cause AT&T is the only service we can get up at the lake, and its just a waste of money to have a prepaid phone just for the lake) so we'll see!

I wouldn't recommend AT&Ts network to anyone, personally. But hey. ;)
