Oh, and I guess I should have said that even though I'm still trying to figure it out, I loooooooooooove my Vortex. Also, if your battery is getting killed by apps, downloading an app killer is probably a good idea. IJS

I think I'm the only one who mentioned bad battery life. And I generally don't use my phone for anything app related except at night when it's already plugged in anyways. I peruse facebook a few times a day, but mostly I use my phone for text, email, and phone calls.

Also, the iPhone 3G doesn't have multitasking capabilities. So.

My apps run on their own w/o me doing it, LOL So I kill them every once in a while to conserve battery power.

I just moved back to a Blackberry 8520 and love it..

I looked at an iPhone but they just aren't practical for my industry. A few guys have them and say how GREAT they are but always whine about never getting emails or how their battery is always dead..

Mind you in Business, how often will you use Angry Birds to sell a customer on a product.. :24:

I might look at something in the future but will stick with this Blackberry for now..

After all, the most important thing for my phone to do is CONNECT when I call. :D

I've just got an old pay as you go phone which I've had for years. I only use my mobile if I need to get in contact with someone when I'm out and I dont like texting, rather just speak to them on the phone, its a lot easier. This is my phone

I have an Iphone and i love it. I have no complaints unlike my other smart phones b4 with lots of limitations. As with most who did say about battery life- well, i learned to adapt to the capabilities of my phone has just like any other. It's just an anticipatory need. If i knew i needed it for more than it can last for in a day. I always bring my charger with me. I also have a car charger and Iphone battery life keeps me well even if I have to work 16H that day ;)

My cousin has a BB which he was very proud of ( we bought phones same time) Now his phone's roller thingie (ball cursor for searches etc ) is broken and he's forced into changing his phone to a new one prematurely :( and wanting to change into a touch screen now.

Another friend who had an Iphone for years was mesmerized by Sprint's new HTC EVO phone with 4G capabilities. He shifted to this phone. Despite he says that the phone works almost like the Iphone and quicker in searches due to the 4G network, he is quite limited now with some of the features he's used to with an Iphone. Due to his 2 year contract with this other network service provider, he cant easily shift back to an Iphone. He had to compensate by buying an Ipod touch new generation so he can still have the apps etc he used to have with his old Iphone. ;)

I am never changing back to any other smart phones. Am sticking with the Iphone and am waiting for the new Iphone 4GS with 4 G capability. That would be awesome to have. That's just me and my needs for a phone though
