In Need of an Enemy?

When it comes to threads on America, Pete's a troll.

I would not say that just because someone disagrees or they may be a tad prejudicial or disagreeable. Yes, Kelvin is blatant, but I think you guys owe Pete an apology.

So I stand by my original assessment. If you have a child abroad, they are not a citizen of the US unless you follow the proper procedure. Until then, they are not a citizen of the US

You have to follow proper procedure when your child is born in the United States too... though hospitals have workers for that purpose that fill out the Social Security forms and all of that information and then submit it.

Peter pretty regularly takes shots at the United States Constitution, especially the 2nd Amendment. I don't think that classifies him as a troll per se, certainly not in the realm of Kelvin.

A good debate on the Constitution should always be welcomed, even shots. If they don't have merit, they are easy to knock down. :)
:wtf:not that i know what im supposed to be apologizing for,...but im not apologizing for shit...especially shit that i have no idea what its for

Well you could reread my reply to Accountable. And maybe I should limit my remark to Accountable since he first said it, but based on this discussion, anyone who infers Pete is a troll because he is disagreeable should apologize imho. The troll label is serious and it is my opinion. :)

Maybe you are right, I may have been reading between the lines as in, "Pete's a troll". "And I thought that was Kelvin's gig (but I'm not going to disagree with you)". And I've admitted that I could be in error. So you don't think Pete is a troll. Got it.

Edgray, back on track? Oh, The Republican's always need an enemy. :)

This happens to almost every thread... debates have an ebb and flow to them, and sometimes it just goes a different direction than intended. I think the original topic has been pretty well covered at this point.

I didn't think anyone had even really broached it. I'll just sit back and let you lot get on with it.

You're technically wrong but the result is the same. Instead of applying for citizenship, which involves filling out papers, dealing with the consulate and paying fees; they're proving citizenship, which involves filling out papers, dealing with the consulate and paying fees.

They are citizens.
