Is this a free country or a police state?

No one would expect nor want you to do that Kelvin. Be yourself.

I'd like to still know what you have against the US? Why are you singling the US out so much? (especially given that Britain is complicit in all of your complaints against the US)
When it comes to politics its often USA versus the rest of the world if you been following the global politics closely.

If you are talking abt linkage, so far there are 42 postings here and nobody has addressed the topic proper.

Because the topic itself is ridiculous.

The United States is not a police state. There mere assertion of that fact is utterly baseless and devoid of any type of substance.

If you want a Police State, go to North Korea. Or perhaps, Singapore.

I'm not sure how many would want to copy you. Lets ask some of those arbitrarily arrested and sitting in jail...
What really matters is that the government of Singapore has delivered the goods, the people are happy, we have a very high savings rate, people here are well educated, we have built strong pillars for generations to come. If you wanna borrow money from us to settle your $12T debt we should be able to oblige.:24::24::24:

Its our advantage and US advantage to make use of the Internal Securty Act and detain suspected terrorists without trial. Singapore is a major terrorists target cuz we have a heavy american interest here.
To an extent I applaud your country's anti-terrorism efforts, but infringing on basic human rights under the ambiguous guise of "security" is wrong.

I disagree. We cant have seperate laws for terrorists and locals. Besides terrorists some llocal muslims are being indoctrinated by intenet sources to bomb key installations here. We are a small island and very vulnerable - surrounded by muslim countries like Israel.
