Is this a free country or a police state?

Like I mentioned in another thread we are the world's 5th wealthiest nation. No country is without problems. With stong finanacial standing our problems are minimal and a small nation like us is financing US debts.:24::24::24:

Wealth is not the only criteria to judge a country by. Things are fine and dandy until you are one of the one arbitrarily locked up and the key thrown away.

First Singapore barely qualifies as a Nation. It is a Island City State or a Microstate that can barely be compared to any other Country as far as regional size or requirement for a Government to run other then Monaco or the Vatican.

Second, without the US, you would not have an economy.. But I guess you would not care if the US would get rid of the USSFTA Agreement.. :D Perhaps the rest of your countrymen would want your privates on a stick however..

That's an incomplete sentence. :)

eta: Ya think you could clean up post 28 so we can know what it is that you don't care about but just throw up to get a reaction, please?
You guys dont really dont know much abt singapore. We are not like N. Korea. How could we be an US alley (is the spelling correct) if our democracy, freedom and human rights is questionable. Bush visited Singapore 2 times to seek advise about Asia and Obama vsited Singapore once.

I don't think those factors you mentioned are a prerequisite for being an ally of the United States.

By Mr Nice Guy I mean I can pretend to agree with forum members abt the 2 wars, protectionism, human rights abuses in singapore and be a 'Yes' man for everything you guys say.

No one would expect nor want you to do that Kelvin. Be yourself.

I'd like to still know what you have against the US? Why are you singling the US out so much? (especially given that Britain is complicit in all of your complaints against the US)
