The Left Wing vs Right Wing World (INFOGRAPHIC)

I just took a look in America's mirror and saw a country that doesn't believe it's OK to beat it's citizens with wet, split wooden canes for trivial misdemeanor crimes.
Maybe if you started using the cane instead of locking the bastards up for years when they commit a trivial crime you would have less crime. I'm thinkin' a person would only put up with caning once unlike the numerous trips to the slammer as in what's happening now.

Sorry. One of the things I love most about my country is that we don't beat our citizens, or cut off their hands, or otherwise abuse them under the guise of "deterrance". I'm not swayable on that topic.

This happened last month. G20 2009: Police Attack Students at University of Pittsburgh

Riot control measures are not the same thing as state-sanctioned, court-ordered punishment. Being hit with pepper spray for refusing to follow police orders does not qualify as a human rights violation in my opinion. Plus, in this video, I didn't see anyone actually being "attacked" by police. I saw clouds of tear gas designed to move people away, and I saw one person being taken to the ground by police - with no idea of what he had done to lead to that action.

Keep trying.

In the meantime I'll say again: You beat your citizen with wooden canes.

You should read the comments abt that Video by the americans. I am not going to get it for you.

One of the beautiful things about American is that people are free to comment however they wish. They are free to shoot videos that portray the police (and government, by association) in a bad light. They are free to speak out however they feel about an issue like this, without the fear that a government official will knock on their door and drag them away for their opinion.

None of that, however, means that just because SOME people see something a certain way, or express a particular opnion, that it represents all or even the majority of American people. This was clearly a very small event that didn't really warrant much attention - or this video and the story would have been bigger and more wide spread than a Youtube video. Let's face it... college kids in general are of a "anti-goverment/anti-authority" mindset. It's normal and it's not news. I'm curious if you have info about this event that shows that any people were actually HARMED?

No I am complaining that you tell the US to look in the mirror about human rights violations when you are not willing to do the same.

I will put our record against yours any day.

I'm not talking about Saudi Arabia. I'm talking about YOUR country. You asked me to look in the mirror. I did. You will not respond because you cannot defend your country's actions.
He's a squirmy little devil when cornered, ain't he? :D
