Very true, God help you when he gets his hands on yuh though. If he was faster I'd say he would be the one that could beat Silva.

fuck man I still think he's the one to beat Silva, Anderson doesn't have Vitor explosiveness or Power, Lindland can eat some shots from Anderson if he has to.

he won't eat too many, just enough to grab a hold on him, Vitor has the one Punch KO power Silva doesn't, Lindland will have to eat 2 or 3 shots from Silva to get in but he can take it from Silva.

It may take more then 2-3 is my point, Silva has a huge reach and can circle out pretty quick. He'll be looking to keep the distance and keep his back away from the fence. Lindland could do it, but it wont be easy. But yeah, once Mat got his hands on Silva, it's over.

Lindland needs to work on his footwork to cut of the cage on Silva.

Yup, but I do agree that he is one of the ones that could do it. There is allot of good MW fighters that could do it, but it still is MMA's weakest division. Well, other then 145 and 135. But those guys really haven't had a big stage to fight on till recently with the rise of WEC.

it's been the weakest division for a while but it's getting better, it sucks that the divsion is spread out between so many Orgs we can't have the best fighting eachother, guys like Akiyama and Robbie Lawler need to be in the UFC.

No shit!! It was UFC's weak point and and Strikeforce's strong point, when Strike force went down I was rubbing my hands together, but all of their fighters went elsewhere. Well, UFC picked up Kang, it's a start.

Indeed, UFC is wierd, some very good fighters just seem to struggle there. I can't believe ring and cage makes that much of a difference.

He also looked like he was recovering from his Akiyama and Mousasi loses for a bit there

maybe it has something to do with the drug testing policies in the US, who knows? maybe he's just used to fighting undersized japanese cans and the UFC was just a step up in competition, I don't know what it is but I'm sure he's better than he showed in his last fight.

Yeah, I think one major thing is the Americans seem to have weight cutting down allot better. In my mind these Pride guys were bigger, they come here and they are tiny in the same weight class. When I saw Shogun stand next to Forrest my jaw hit the floor.

yeah, Forrest is a HUGE LHW, PRIDE never really put any pressure on anyone to make weight either, maybe they're not used to actually having to cut?

I think it is just a natural thing with how many wrestlers we have here in the states. You don't get allot of major weight cutting in JJ or Judo. Sure you get some, but not like you do here.
