Yeah all sports should be played like that, outdoor ones anyway. It helps.

basketball, but it wasnt a game, just 8 year olds and a few adults shooting hoops.
I have played tennis in that kind of weather.

Yeah, why not? If it was a lot hotter than that, i.e. in the 30s I wouldn't try play any sports

Actually I know of someone when we visited the mountains of Palm Springs, he was only wearing a shirt. It was about 10 degrees out there, chilly with winds and bit snowing. It became understandable during the trailing as it became warmer but still that was too cold not to even use a light jacket/sweater

Yes, we used to play sports like that at school. The only ones who tried to weasel out of it were the pussies.

Being active keeps you warm, and love of the sport makes the weather not a factor
I'm allergic to all kind of sports
... but I'm well known for shoveling 20 inches of snow wearing a t-shirt, leggings and sneakers!!.. just ask my neighbors :tongue: 
But they weren't playing a game just shooting hoops and I'm perfectly fine with people thinking I'm a pussy. I'd just have a few choice 4 letter words for them and be on my merry way. If you're ass can't dress appropriately for the season you deserve to get whatever comes your way, be it hypothermia, pneumonia or influenza. Too many people don't dress seasonably and not just when playing sports.
