but her husband and i are friends as well. we're all mutual friends. its not "well my husband doesnt like you thing." cause thats not the case.

"its a im a ignorant bitch and i want to see if someone better wants to hang out with me first and if not then ill give you a call to hang out after i realize i have no plans and no one wants to hang out with me thing"

So there is no chance a game of "you show me yours and I'll show you mine will develop?"

Normally those types of relationships wind up on Springer

Haus, there's the answer then...you thought she was your friend, she isn't. That sucks. I'm sorry. Especially if you enjoyed talking to her as a friend and now she chooses to ignore you and not talk at all.

That is a horrible thing to say .. even if you are gonna do tha t.. you should have the tact about you to not actually say it. If something else comes up .. then call and cancel .. don't make the person feel totally worthless from the get go.

This is what's wrong with people today .. they have no common consideration .. empathy .. for other peoples feelings. The truth is the best thing, but you can give a version of the truth that isn't as hurtful or mean.

My feelings would be completely shattered if one of my friends said that to me. I would feel the same way, like I wasn't good enough .. but they guess I'd do if no one else called and asked them to do anything .. like hanging with me at least would be better than nothing.

How fucking rude.

If she actually calls you later, I'd say 'Sorry, I've made other plans now.'

if you asked your friend if he/she wanted to chill and he/she said well i dont have any plans yet but if i dont later ill be sure to give you a call.

im like WTF. that is some messed up shit right there. im calling to make plans and if you dont then you dont say well if i dont have any later ill be sure to give you a call.

might as well say. if someone better doesnt make plans with me ill call you later and we can chill. mmmmk

:wtf:

I've had that happen too - it usually means that you are last resort company if no-one or nothing better crops up.

It's rude and unecessary, but some people are just like that.

As the years go by and your circle of friends change, (as they do, all the time), it will be more apparent.

Not worth bothering with at all.

Happenstance, and mutually planning a "hang out session" are two totally different things.

I would think most married men would have issues with thier wife going to someones house to "hang out" by someone I mean...a single mans house.

That is not exactly a primitive concept.

I know they do - especially those who are at it themselves!

You just hit the nail on the head imo.
