I think you have weighed the risks..and you 2 seem to have a connection...if it doesnt work out for some reason..you arent that far away from home technically.

Well, I'm new here and maybe going out on a limb, but I hope not to offend anyone.

I noticed you said you're a former addict. So am I. I also noticed you said you did something similar with your wife.

As a former addict, I have to remember that it's part of my addictive personality and/or included in my addictive behavior to act on impulse and not always think things out clearly. I also have to remember to learn from past mistakes, actions, and/or behaviors. Just sayin'

More generally - meeting someone online can be misleading. Hopefully things turn out wonderful for you, but even if they do on this first meeting, time is important in developing relationships.

Have to dive in sometime...cant stay a new member forever,we are hard to offend around here..well most of us..some may get pissed but I never know why.

I personally have met several online..while not all of the meetings were grand,by no means were the majority of them castaways.

Just because one used to be an addict doesnt mean that judgment has failed...when i first started reading the posts and I was against it then I went back to the opening post again and reread it.
Its not out of of the blue decision as they have been chatting online for some time...the main thing is the distance is very reasonable...a 4 to 6 hour drive I believe with HER doing the driving.
Heck I have spent more than 6 hours mowing there yard before lol....in this case here the distance isnt really that important....heck they could both be in NY in 6 months.
