If Social Security is supposed to be a mandated savings plan for U.S. citizens, how hard can that be?
But it's not. Savings implies that you get back what you put in. Someone old gets out what you put in. When you get old you're getting what some youngster is putting in. Thus, Ponzi scheme.

As much as you'd like it to be for political ammo, it's not a Ponzi scheme. I think at some level you recognize that even if you won't admit it.
