Fan support was NOT the issue. The owners of this franchise have screwed up pretty much everything they've touched.

The fact that the NHL gets a tidy little $60 million dollar "relocation fee" is a major part of why this happened, and why Bettman is a lying sack of shit.

I've been to lots of games. I'm really pissed. So are plenty of others in Atlanta.

One of the main sports coumnists here called Bettman a liar and a weasel in print yesterday.
