How can they get free assistance if they are there illegally?
Forgive me if I am wrong but I thought benefits required citizenship, social security numbers or whatever you guys have out there

How can they walk into the emergency room and get treated for free? They do and it's free for them but someone is paying.

How can they sneak into the country, pop out a kid, the kid automatically becomes a U.S. citizen and the family gets to stay? (It happens frequently I think.)

I've always said if you sneak in and have a kid, you and your kid can both be deported. It's been a huge issue in California for decades. Tax payers or citizens through insurance or higher fees end up supporting these illegals.

so are most americans illegals as the native americans didn't want the settlers there?

If you are going to use that analogy, the illegals rolled over the locals and created a new nation. ;) It's fact, it's historical, and the treatment of the Indians by today's standards is viewed (I hope) in a negative light.

But that pretty much happened anywhere where any technological advanced group showed up facing natives. Its illustrates what having a technical advantage and numbers does for you. And regarding religion, in some places the official motto was "convert or be cleansed" as in be put to death. My understanding is that Mexico and the Spanish was a good example off this.

Well just so the usual few don't start on about me being some racist USA hater again, I'll start by saying this isn't just a thing in the USA, it seems to be more acceptable to bash on the certain races that we get more immigrants from over here too. It seems to get whipped up by the usual right wing propaganda in the tabloids, on one hand accusing them of coming over here to ****** off of us while contradicting themselves by accusing them of nicking our jobs. Funny thing is I've never lost out on a job and neither has anyone I know because they decided to give it to an illegal immigrant instead.

I am serious, but obviously lots of things need to change before it can be done.

Each country has a right to establish borders and enforce an immigration policy. All I ask is that it be fair, more fair to the citizens than the immigrants as we really owe them nothing until they fulfill the legal requirements to be come citizens.

Right, well I don't believe in countries so me and you are thinking in different terms, anyways. Which is why I don't even like to get involved in debates on this forum (and this isn't a diss). I'm pretty sure I'm the only anarchist here. Just seems rather pointless and fruitless.

Some better reading from people who word stuff better than me, not that this will do anything:
Some people have to stay and fight for survival in the country they live in while others have to leave to survive. Corporations cross international borders all the time in search of people to exploit for profit and no one stops them. They call it globalization. On the other hand, the victims of corporate domination are told that they can’t cross borders in search of better lives, and are forced to stay and deal with the social, economic and environmental messes the companies leave behind when they inevitably move their operations to places with even more “favourable business climates® (re: lower wages, lax environmental laws, tax breaks). Looks like capitalism and human-rights don’t mix.

It's restrictive.
But all we're ever gonna have is You vs Mulder lol. But I agree with you, Minor, on more issues than I do Mulder.

I hate it how black people can say racial things against white people all the time, but not the other way around. I watched this horrible comedy act the other day where this black guy was saying, "The black man invented the light bulb, and the white man invented the energy bill." First off I was like.... didn't Albert Einstein invent the light bulb? Then I was like... let's switch that around, "The white man invented the light bulb, and the black man invented the energy bill." With a white guys saying it, how would the crowd of reacted?

I dont thinkthats really purpose of the thread, but it is ironic how lightly "cracker"/whte racism is taken, and how strongly african/asian/hispanic/jewish communities get offended when a slur is thrown at them. Not that its a big deal, I dont care either way, but its kind of annoyingly hyprocritical.
